Tiffany Alexy’s How to Invest in Real Estate Like a #Homegrl is a great primer for action for (actually) anyone who has an interest in rental real estate properties. In plain language and in enough detail to help but not bog down, Tiffany walks the reader through her process of acquiring and accumulating rental real estate. She opens with how she began to build her mini empire while in her twenties (and still in college when she started). There’s no fluff here, only helpful advice gained from experience and training in this book. She gives a good look at the process from selecting viable properties to managing them, from making renovation decisions to determining the time to sell, and from making business decisions to allocating income. It’s surprising how much you will understand about rental real estate investing after you read this short book!
